JAMMU, Oct 26: A week long solo painting exhibition ‘Samritian’ by Anila Singh Charak concluded here today at Richen Zangpo Art Gallery (RZAG), University of Jammu.
Prof. Sanjana Koul, Department of Botany and First Lady of JU Campus was the chief guest at the valedictory.
She is a visual artist herself.
Lauding the efforts of Prof. Anita Billawaria, Director, RZAG, Prof Koul said that all the paintings of Mrs. Charak have a hidden message of peace, womanhood and nature.
She dwelt that RZAG should organize such exhibitions often and provide platform to budding artists.
Ranjit Kalra from HRDC, University of Jammu was also present on the occasion and said that efforts of Prof. Anita Billawaria in head hunting the budding artists of the state and providing them a platform for their career is commendable.
Abhimanyu Dev Singh Billawaria from CSSEIP, University of Jammu, Ashok Sharma, O.P Shakir and Rampal Dogra were also present to grace the occasion.
