KATHUA, Apr 3: Under Manodarpan initiative of Union Ministry of Education, GLDM Degree College Hiranagar in collaboration with College IQAC organized a webinar on ‘Career after Graduation’. Ambica Kumari, Assistant Professor in Psychology, P.G College for Women Gandhi Nagar and Nodal Officer Career Counseling Cell, Higher Education Department J&K was the resource person.
The webinar started with welcome address by Prof. Parveen Sharma, Convener Career Counseling Cell.
In his inaugural address, Principal Prof. Kuldeep Singh Koushal said that Manodarpan is an initiative by human resources development under Atam Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan aimed to provide psychological support to students, teachers and family members for their mental health and well being during the times of COVID-19.
Prof. Ambica Kumari, resource person in her address explained different courses and career aspects of students after graduation.
More than 100 students and staff members of the college virtually attended this webinar.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Davinder Kour, HoD Education and Convener Psychological Cell.
