JAMMU: Terming introduction of Goods and Services Tax (GST) as most effective economic and tax reform in independent India capable of evolving cooperative federal system in the Country, Union Minister of State for PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh today hoped that GST will soon roll in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
“We cannot live in isolation in this age of globalisation so I hope GST will also roll out in J&K state soon,” Dr Singh said while speaking at a function organised to mark the 68th Charted Accountants’ Day here. He expressed optimism that the GST regime would soon be extended to state of Jammu and Kashmir. (AGENCIES)
