UDHAMPUR, Apr 16: Water-logging and blocked drains overflowing within minutes of a slight rainfall has exposed the working of Municipal Council (MC) here today.
It rained hardly for half of an hour here this afternoon taking the MC authorities unprepared.
Residents of Ward Number 13, 14, 9, Chowk Salian Talab, Gole Market and Main Bazaar faced problems as the water from overflowing drains entered their houses and shops putting them to losses.
The pedestrians also faced problems in walking as the streets were water-logged.
There were murmurs among the public that MC authorities have failed in the town to perform due to which the public is made to suffer.
