JAMMU, Nov 28: A grand farewell function was organized by Ganesh Khajuria (UT chairman, JKTF) in favour of Surat Singh Toofani, Headmaster and senior vice president of JKTF.
The function was graced by Ashok Kumar Sharma (Director School Education, Jammu) and a galaxy of officers of School Education Department including Mamta Sharma, Deputy Director Planning, Suraj Singh Rathore, Joint Secretary JKBOSE and Jagdeep Padha, Chief Education Officer Jammu, besides office bearers of JKTF.
In his more than 34 years of teaching profession, Toofani rendered his services at different Government institutions and remained outstanding teacher throughout his service. Moreover, as a Trade Union leader, he also touched new heights and set a benchmark for the generations to come.
All the speakers highlighted the achievements of Surat Singh Toofani as a teacher and as a Trade Union leader and wished him a happy and healthy post-retirement life.
