RAJOURI, May 22: The police arrested a wanted criminal who was evading arrest from Thannamandi area for the past some time.
Official sources said that a special team was constituted under the supervision of SDPO Thannamandi, Dr Imtiaz Hussain, and was led by SHO, Inspector Shoket Hussain.
Absconder identified as Sadaqat Hussain was wanted in several FIRs registered in different police station of district Rajouri. He was absconding for the past some time as he was involved in illegal activities. He was wanted in FIR 44 of 2022 under section 307/353/332/427 by Rajouri Police Station and Thannamandi Police Station under FIR No. 67 of 2020 under section 353/332. He has been put behind the bars.
