JAMMU, Feb 17: The Minister for R&B, Abdul Majid Wani today reviewed performance of Jammu and Kashmir Project Construction Corporation (JKPCC) while chairing Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Corporation .
The meeting particularly reviewed the annual accounts pertaining to the Corporation.
Threadbare discussion was held on the accounts of company and accounts for the years 1995-96, 1996-97 and 1997-98 were placed before the meeting and were approved.
However, the Minister raised the issue of arrears in finalization of accounts and directed the concerned for completion of these on fast track basis.
He further asserted for speedy completion of all the projects taken up by the Corporation.
Detailed discussion was also held on land available in Pampore village. The Minister directed the concerned to submit a comprehensive proposal for its utilization to increase the revenue of the organization.
Among others, Commissioner Secretary, R&B, Tanveer Jahan, Managing Director, JKPCC and other officers attended the meeting.
