VSS discusses burning issues of displaced Pandits

JAMMU, May 21: The Vitasta Samaj Sewa (VSS) and social activists group of Kashmiri Pandits of Nagrota TRT in a meeting today by maintaining social distancing discussed the burning issues of Kashmiri Pandits including the problems of unemployed youth of the community.
The meeting was chaired by Chand Ji Khar president Vitasta Samaj Sewa. He said that the Government should also provide the benefit of various Centrally sponsored schemes to displaced people from Valley. The meeting however expressed its satisfaction over the steps taken by the Relief organization in solving some burning problems of the displaced people.
It said the timely action of Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner in releasing the ration and relief on old ration cards for the month of April and May has provided a lot of succor to the relief holders otherwise they would have been put to many hardships and crisis due to the lock down.
It while complimenting the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner expressed the hope that the other issues of the displaced people will be also solved by him on the same pattern and demanded that the displaced youth be also given the share in the class fourth vacancies to be identified in various Government departments.
The others who attended the meeting included Ashok Kumar Koul Vijay Kumar Sopori, Shadi Lal , Chand Ji Bhat and Vijay Kumar Pandit.
