RAJOURI, Apr 7: While conducting a series of meetings at Ghalutti, Kalaban, Thandikassi, Karayian and Chenani Bagla, Ex-Minister and MLA Rajouri, Shabir Ahmed Khan, said that vote for UPA-III will be vote for the nation and appealed the people to vote irrespective of caste, creed, colour and region.
Asserting that vote for Madan Lal Sharma will be reward for his efforts made for the development of Pir-Panchal region, he said time has come when people should think above party politics and come forward to vote in favour of Madan Lal Sharma.
Khan said BJP and PDP are playing complimentary and supplementary to each other in polarising the electoral battle with common objective of weakening secular forces and none of them is interested in serving the people and redressing their grievances, as their only priority is to grab power by hook or crook.
The MLA Rajouri said Congress is the only party which can dare to do in the welfare of poor people, by introducing various bills and schemes like NRHM, MGNREGA, PMGSY and many more. BJP being a party which just works on the agenda of RSS can never run the Nation, he added.
Accusing the BJP of dividing the country on the basis of caste and religion, the Ex-Minister said Gujarat riots will remain a black mark on heritage of India, as the killing of the innocent people to grab power is a big crime, which makes BJP leader unfit to lead the country of pluralistic ethos.
Khan appealed the people to be a pillar against the communal agencies and people running them and work whole heartedly for the Congress Party to ensure the victory of coalition candidates.
