JAMMU, Apr 7: President Sanatan Dharam Sabha, (SDS), Jagdish Dogra today said that all arrangements are in place for the celebration of Ram Navmi and taking out of Ram Navmi procession in the city tomorrow.
Talking to reporters here, today he said Ram Navmi procession, will be taken out on this auspicious occasion from the Main Bazars of Jammu City. The procession will start from Parade Ground Jammu, where the Jhankis from different religious organisations will assemble and later leave for Shri Raghunath Mandir, where Pooja of Bhagwan Ram will be performed. After the Pooja ceremony, the main “Rath of Bhagwan Ram ” will lead the procession of Ram Navmi, he added.
He said from the Raghunath Mandir Chowk the procession will take the route via Residency Road, Rajinder Bazar, Kanak Mandi, City Chowk, Old Hospital Road, Purani Mandi, Moti Bazar. It will culminate at Parade Ground. Mr Dogra appealed the people of Jammu to participate in large numbers in the procession on this auspicious occasion of Ram Navmi.
He said the nation is going to polls and as the people of a great democracy of world, the people of Jammu region have also a duty to ensure their maximum participation in the elections so that a strong Government is installed at Centre. He also appealed the people that while casting their vote they should keep the past performance, credentials and track record of candidates and their parties in mind.
He cautioned all the political leaders to refrain from issuing statements to instigate any particular community and by making remarks on a particular religion. He also condemned the leaders of those political parties who had recently, appealed the Muslims that they should not let their votes get split.
