JAMMU, Feb 11: A general body meeting of Voice of KPs was held under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina today in which, the problems faced by Kashmiri migrants were highlighted.
As per a release, the meeting expressed concern over delay in enhancement of cash relief among migrants despite the approval by State Cabinet a year ago. The meeting said migrants in order to meet their daily needs including medicare expenses were compelled to sell out their properties in Valley.
The members appealed the authorities to declare the enhancement before Shivratri festival.
The members appealed both BJP and PDP to form the Government as early as possible for the welfare of the people. The people have given clear mandate to the two parties for development of the State, it added.
