JAMMU, Oct 2: Vodafone Business Services (VBS), the enterprise arm of Vodafone India, has launched International Toll Free Services (ITFS) to meet the need of Indian enterprises and provide a convenient and free method to their customers, business partners and employees traveling abroad – to communicate with them, through an international toll free number.
The noteworthy benefit of this service for Indian enterprises would be that billing is done in Indian rupees instead in foreign currency, which is the case when calls are routed through international operators. Besides, Vodafone will be providing this service to multiple countries by eliminating the need for Enterprises to talk to multiple service providers.
Vodafone is all set to tap the potential business opportunities in the INR 70 crore (Source F&S) ITFS market and empower the enterprises across sectors – cater to their international customers, call support centres in India or conference bridges hosted in India. Vodafone will work closely with these enterprises to understand their business needs and provide suitable ITFS number solutions. Vodafone customers can directly avail the Toll Free Number of different countries effortlessly. As an added benefit, customers need not connect with the foreign operators and neither do they have to worry about hauling the call back to India.
Commenting on this announcement, Naveen Chopra, Director, Vodafone Business Services, said, “Having built a robust infrastructure over the last three years, we are now looking at wireline services as a key revenue driver for Vodafone Business Services.
Keeping an eye on the increasing mobility need of the business of all size, we have introduced ITFS to facilitate the enterprises in India. Initially we are providing this service in all major countries and going forward we would add more countries.”
