JAMMU, May 22: Reaffirming its commitment to the growth and development of J&K, Vodafone, a leading telecom operator, is all geared up to reward Class 10th and 12th students for their academic excellence.
The J&K circle of Vodafone has called for entries to the 3rd edition of the scholarship programme beginning May 25.
From this year, Vodafone has introduced an online application process, facilitating students with easy registration and making the scholarship programme more accessible to people across the State.
The details of the scholarship programme, application process and enrolment form can be availed from www.vodafone.in/promotions/scholarship. Once enrolled, the applicants need to submit copy of the J&K State Education Board/CBSE results within 30 days of declaration, to the nearest Vodafone Store or Vodafone Mini Store.
All existing and new Vodafone customers whose children have scored 90 per cent and above in the Class 10th and 12th board exams are eligible for the scholarships. Students achieving a perfect 10 CGPA score in the CBSE Class 10 exams and those scoring 90 per cent and above marks in the J&K State Education Board and CBSE Class 10th and 12th exams can apply for the scholarship.
Speaking on this initiative, Pushpinder Singh Gujral, Business Head, Punjab, HP and J&K, Vodafone India, said, “The Vodafone Scholarship Programme is our initiative to empower students to aspire for excellence and pursue their dreams. This year, we have taken our commitment to a higher level by accepting online applications, thus making the scheme more accessible to people across the State”.
