VKS expresses concern over spike in Corona cases

JAMMU, Aug 11: Vishal Khatri Sabha (VKS) on Tuesday expressed concern over spike in Corona cases in J&K.
In a meeting here Sabha president, Davinder Seth said COVID-19 is a disease which can infect anyone and we should not take it lightly.
“We all need to strictly maintain social distancing and follow the guidelines issued by the Government in this regard so that the country can succeed in its fight against the pandemic,” he maintained.
Seth also said: “Let’s not just think about ourselves but also about our children and grandchildren. I don’t see any reason why we shouldn’t be disciplined.”
He further said that lockdowns have been successful in helping to contain the pandemic and India is doing much better than many developed nations in this regard.
Seth also said that to help the poor hit by the lockdown, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has announced extension of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for 80 crore people till November end.
