UDHAMPUR, June 9: The inhabitants of village Sansu in Udhampur today demonstrated against shifting of Government Primary School Sansu, which was being run from the premises of Shiv Temple in the locality.
The demonstration was held under the leadership of Lal Singh, Lambadar of the area. The villagers raised slogans against the Education Department and demanded restoration of the school to the village.
They also threatened to launch mass movement if their demand is not conceded by the concerned authorities.
