JAMMU, June 9: A pedestrian was killed today after he was hit by speeding bike in Nagbani area of city outskirts.
The deceased has been identified as Kamal Nain Sharma (55) son of Badrinath Sharma, a resident of Sunderbani (at present Nagbani). The man in serious condition was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
After conducting medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
A case in this regard has been registered at police station Domana and investigations started.
