NOWSHERA, Apr 22: A villager was injured as a gun went off accidentally at Lamberi in Nowshera area of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that 38-year-old Sanjay Kumar, son of Behari Lal, resident of Lamberi was working as painter in the house of one Bansi Lal at village Bakhar. He sustained bullet injury while mis-handling of .12 bore licensed gun of Bansi Lal during work. He was rushed to Nowshera hospital and his condition was stated to be stable now. The police has registered a case for investigation.
