Srinagar, Apr 22: Police today said a girl attempted suicide in Kupwara district of North Kashmir.
A police spokesman said a girl (name withheld) of Kupwara consumed some poisonous substance at her home. “She was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment where from she was referred to SMHS hospital Srinagar for further treatment,” he said.
The spokesman said that police have registered a case in this regard.
