UDHAMPUR, Aug 27: Panic gripped village Bup in block Chenani of district Udhampur after a leopard attacked a villager and left him seriously injured.
The victim, identified as Ratan Lal, son of Yograj of Bup, was attacked by the leopard last evening when he was on way to home after grazing cattle from nearby forest. Before some villagers could come to his rescue, leopard injured him and fled.
Later the injured was shifted to Sub-District hospital Chenani and his condition was stated to be stable.
