SRINAGAR, Aug 27: Two men today committed suicide in Kashmir, police said.
A youth, Basit Ahmed Khan, 19, son of Ghulam Nabi of Utrasoo, Anantnag, committed suicide by hanging himself with a scarf at his home.
A follower in Indian Reserve Police, Abdul Ahad Dar, committed suicide in district Budgam by consuming poison.
He was shifted to JVC, Bemina, Srinagar, for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police said they have registered cases in this regard.
