JAMMU, Dec 2: JKPCC president, Vikar Rasool Wani today cautioned the people of Jammu and Kashmir against the divisive tactics of BJP and RSS leaders.
Addressing a party function organised in connection with joining of scores of political activists from Kathua district here today, Wani alleged that BJP was habitual of playing divisive politics and creating hate among the communities . This is very dangerous for the country like India. During elections it plays emotional card and exploits the sentiments of people. He cautioned people against such tactics of BJP and RSS.
PCC chief said that after the successful conduct of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ led by Rahul Gandhi large number of workers from other parties and people are joining Congress party all over India and in Jammu and Kashmir. Already congress has won Karnatka and Himachal Pradesh after the Yatra, despite hectic campaign by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and entire Central Govt of BJP. Again the Congress party will emerge victorious and stronger in five Assembly elections tomorrow.
He said there is anger among people against BJP who has played with the sentiments of the people who voted them to power. People are not happy with their policies and the Government has proved to be a failure.
During function scores of political workers from Kathua district led by Robin Sharma, prominent social worker and AAP leader , Vinay Sharma from BJP, Rakesh Khajuria from Shiv Sena and Bindu Bala from AAP joined the Congress party.
Welcoming the new entrants Wani cautioned the party workers and people against the divisive tactics of BJP-RSS and said that people now realized his political tactics of ruling party and shall not fall in the trap of BJP which has not delivered on any single promise made to common people and unemployed youths.
PCC working president Raman Bhalla said that after abrogation of special status, the lands of poor being snatched, the protection to jobs have gone and there are no jobs in Government and private sector. In this situation the BJP Government and UT administration is putting additional burden of all sorts of taxes on poor. When the people raise their voice, they are booked on frivolous charges and crushed to suppress the voice of people.
Senior vice president Ravinder  Sharma also spoke on the occasion. Senior leaders Shashi Sharma , Narinder Gupta, Narinder Sharma, TS Tony, Th Manmohan Singh, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Karan Bhagat, Akash Bharat, Nirdosh Sharma, Sanjeev Panda, Neeraj Gupta and others were also present.
