SRINAGAR, June 1: In two separate cases, Vigilance Organization Kashmir today presented charge sheets against the accused public servants, who were caught red handed while demanding and accepting bribe.
Charge sheet in case FIR No. 34/2015 P/S VOK, against accused Bilal Ahmad Bhat of Kaksarie Srinagar, the then Data Entry Operator in Sadder Treasury Srinagar, was presented before the Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Srinagar. The accused was caught red-handed while accepting bribe amount of Rs 3000/- from a Contractor for crediting the amount of Rs 2,84,00 in his (applicants) account issued by R&B Department in his favour on account of works executed by him in Government Degree College for Women Nawakadal Srinagar.
In other case, Vigilance Organization Kashmir presented a Charge Sheet under section 173 Cr. PC in case FIR No. 33/2014 P/S VOK against accused Mohammad Ramzan Mir of Galoora Handwara, the then ASI Police, posted in Police Station Zakoora Srinagar, before the Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Srinagar.
The accused was caught red-handed while accepting bribe amount of Rs 2000/ from one Rafiq Ahmad Pohloo of Baghwanpora Barbarshah Srinagar (applicant) for deleting some offences in the case being investigated by him lodged in Police Station Zakoora.
