JAMMU, July 18: Choudhary Manmohn Singh, former Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation, today convened review meeting of the staff on first day of taking over charge of his new assignment as Vice Chairman of J&K Medical Supplies Corporation (JKMSC).
He was appointed as VC of J&K Medical Supplies Corp by Chief Minister of the State recently. Ch Manmohn convened the meeting of entire staff including Inderjit Bhagat (MD), AK Khajuria (Financial Adviser), Dr RK Khajuria(General Manager, Jmu ), Dr M Iqbal Sofi (General Manager, Kmr), Nazir Ahmed Wani I/C Drugs Quality Control & other staff of the Corporation.
The Managing Director and other officers of the Corporation apprised the VC about the functioning of the J&K Medical Supplies & various problems of the staff. He asked the staff to work with more dedication and devotion for the welfare of people of J&K and for smooth and transparent functioning of the Corporation.
Later, a deputation of Medical Suppliers also met the newly appointed VC and discussed various issues related with the quality supply of medicines.Ch Manmohan urged the suppliers to provide quality services and work with honesty for over all welfare of the ailing people of the State.
