Vibodh, Randhawa release BJP manifesto for LAHDC Kargil

KARGIL, (LADAKH), Aug 21: With an eye to win elections in Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, (LAHDC) Kargil, senior BJP leaders Vibodh Gupta and Vikram Randhawa today released party manifesto promising establishment of Women College, Passport Office, good connectivity, special packages, employment and Super Specialty Hospital.
“Our manifesto aims at fulfilling the aspiration of people of Kargil,. We have focused on the welfare of youth, women, tourist and backward sections. BJP manifesto is a reflection of its slogan “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas”, said Member Legislative Council Vibodh Gupta while addressing media persons here. He said “Party men in Kargil are working with full zeal and enthusiasm and soon lotus will blossom in every house of Kargil”. Super Specialty Hospital, Women College, employment and empowerment to youth are our priorities, Vibodh told the Media, adding a special package will be given to boost tourism and create employment in Kargil. He said the victory of BJP in KHDC elections will mark the beginning of Golden era of Kargil.
Making a scathing attack on Congress Vibodh accused Navjot Singh Sidhu and Congress of backstabbing families of Indian martyr and people of Kargil who bore the brunt of Kargil war. Kargil will never forgive Congress for such irresponsible gestures and in the upcoming KHDC elections voters of Kargil will give befitting reply to Congress, he added.
Vibodh said “ PM Narendar Modi has a special place in his heart for the people of Kargil as they made untold sacrifice during Kargil war. This fact is well acknowledged by PM and therefore he addressed long pending demands of Kargil such as Zojila Tunnel and extension of Airport, he added.
Speaking on the occasion MLC Vikram Randhawa said that BJP is committed to establish peace, development and security in the State and its Kargil manifesto is the reflection of the same. Establishment of Passport Office, Women College, special package for tourists and better connectivity are some key commitments of BJP to the people of Kargil, Vikram told the media. He appealed the people of Kargil to vote and support BJP in large numbers.
Vikram further said that people are satisfied with the welfare schemes of BJP and therefore “we are confident of our Kargil victory’’. He said “there is a general perception among public that BJP can only do justice with the people of Kargil and under its governance Kargil will emerge as a Model region”.
He further said, “ Congress and other parties failed to fulfill the aspiration of people of Kargil and betrayed them after gaining power”.
Kargil district president Mohd Ali also spoke on the occasion. Other BJP Leader who attended press conference were Lama Paljor, Munchi Abdul Aziz, Mohd. Hussain, Ahmad Shah, Hassan Pasha.
