POONCH, Feb 1: The activists of Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal held protest against lodging of an FIR against Army at Shopian in Kashmir and burnt the effigy of State Government here today.
The workers of VHP and BD led by Nishu Gupta and Sourabh Kumar assembled at City Chowk Poonch and held protest against PDP-BJP Govt. They said that FIR against the Army officers was unjustified and unfair as the violent youth had attacked Army convoy. They said anti-nationals must be dealt with heavy hands by the Government. They also burnt the effigy of State Government. Later they dispersed.
