Versatile choreographer Randhir Kumar passes away

JAMMU,  Oct 18: Versatile  choreographer  of  Jammu,  Randhir Kumar  passed away today at his residence at Kacchi Chawni here this afternoon. He was 64.
Retired as Senior Choreographer from Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages , Randhir was known as innovative performer of the State. He represented Jammu and Kashmir in 43 countries as troupe leader of State contingent.
Awarded by many Government organisation Randhir was an eminent personality in choreography in the country. He was master in the act of designing dances especially performing arts of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh. He was also an expert in designing operas, musical and dancing plays.
Randir was also a versatile actor. He acted in the Bollywood movie Avtar in most popular devotional song ‘Chalo bulwa aaya hai- Mata ne bulaya hai”
J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages  officers and officials also condoled the sad demise of Radhir Kumar.
