JAMMU, Mar 28: Pounichak police under ‘Operation AVATAR’ arrested a vehicle lifter.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pounichak police post apprehended a vehicle lifter along with stolen motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AA-0579. The vehicle was stolen few days back from Bohri area.
The accused has been identified as Sunil Kumar alias Goli, son of Raj Kumar, a resident of Lahorichak.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain his involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by Incharge Pounichak police post SI Sumit Magotra made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Rattan Singh Rana, SDPO Domana Varinder Singh and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
