JAMMU, June 30: Prof Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, today paid surprise visit to BGSB Nursing College Jammu.
The Vice Chancellor, accompanied with Special Secretary Suneet Gupta visited the academic, laboratory and hostel block of the college in order to take first hand information regarding the existing academic and infrastructural scenario of the College and the future prospects for improving upon the academic life in the college.
The VC was appraised by the Principal Dr Pushpendra Kumar about the different facilities made available for the students and the future plans to upgrade the academic and infrastructural facilities to develop BGSB College of Nursing Jammu further into centre for excellence in Nursing education.
On the occasion, Prof Akbar expressed full satisfaction on the functioning of the Nursing College and assured every possible support for its growth and development. He emphasized upon the need for observing strict Covid related SOPs in the campus while discharging official responsibilities in order to keep the virus at bay.
