VC JU flags in educational tour

JAMMU, Sept 30: Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, Vice-Chancellor University of Jammu on Monday said that explores of students on a larger canvass is imperative for their healthy bringing besides sharpening their mental faculties.
Interacting with the team comprising of 23 students, two teachers and four conducting staff after their return from an educational/motivational tour under “Operation Sadbhavana”, by 48 Rashtriya Rifles (Garhwal Rifles), Prof Ishar sought first hand information from the students about the places they visited and experiences they gained during the tour.
The function was organized to flag in the group of school children belonging to the under privileged and socially background communities from Rajouri who undertook a seven day tour to Uttarakhand.
Among others Jai Kumar Sharma, Special Secretary to VC; Major Ankur Gupta;.Vinay Thusoo, PRO’   Rakesh Chib, president JURSEA, JU Security Officer Rameshwar Dubey and Liaison Officer Akhilesh Sharma were also present on the occasion.
