SOPORE, Sept 30: A motivational tour for the Moulvies from Sopore and neighbouring villages, organised to Aishmuqam (Anantnag) under the aegis of Headquarters 5 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, was flagged in here today.
A total of 24 Moulvies in the age group 25 to 70 years formed part of the tour. The commanding officer had also interacted with the Moulvies before the tour was flagged off.
During the interaction the religious heads happily shared their feelings about the tour. The moulvies were accompanied by the conducting staff in a luxury coach.
During flagging in ceremony, the Moulvies narrated their experiences of the trip and thanked the Army for organising such trips which provide them opportunity to visit such holy places and also interact with people from all walks of life.
