JAMMU, Sept 3: Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority (JDA), today visited JDA Housing Colony, Roop Nagar to take stock of the issues of residents of the Colony.
Accompanied by other officers of the department, the VC took a round of the Colony, interacted with the residents and members of the Roop Nagar JDA Housing Colony Welfare Association. Later, he addressed the residents of the Colony in the premises of Community Hall/JDA Club.
Chairman of the Association, Uttam Deep Sharma, discussed in detail the burning problems of the locality being faced by the residents with the VC who assured the gathering that every possible action will be taken by the department to make the colony a better place to live in.
VC JDA said that all the pending works like repair of roads & drains, constructing parking facility near Aap Shambhu Temple and repair and renovation of parks will be started soon.
