JAMMU, Dec 28: Vice-Chancellor of SKUAST-Jammu, Prof J P Sharma inaugurated Large Animal Operation Theatre in Division of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology (VSR), FVSc & AH, R S Pura, here today.
Registrar SKUAST-Jammu, Dr S K Gupta; Director Research, Dr Pradeep Wali, Dean FV Sc & AH, Dr M S Bhadwal; Head of Division of VSR, Dr H R Bhardwaj and other faculty members were also present on the occasion.
The newly inaugurated large animal OT is 1600 sq ft in area and is well equipped with all modern veterinary facilities like hydraulic bed, multiparameter monitor, ECG machine, electro-cautery, upgraded hoof and dentistry instruments.
Head of the Division of VSR appraised VC SKUAST-J about the teaching and non-teaching staff of the division. He also elaborated about the new facilities and approved upcoming amenities.
The VC asked the concerned for detailed requirements for additional strengthening of large animal operation theatre. Further, Professor Sharma garlanded the Goddess Saraswati and planted ornamental tree in front of the main entrance of newly inaugurated large animal OT.
