JAMMU, May 13: Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu Prof Ashok Aima released the book titled “Faiths and Ford-Finders” written by Ajit Singh Nagra, Principal (Retd).
On the occasion, scholars and intellectual giants including Dr DL Choudhary Director, The Yoga Centre, Central University of Jammu and SK Jain Patron and President of Vicha Kranti Manch, International and Guest Faculty in Central University of Jammu, Kuldeep Misra, Senior Lecturer, Dr Konika Bhagat another Yoga Guest Faculty and Priyanka Bhat graced the occasion. Amongst others, students of PG Diploma in Yoga participated in the book release function.
The book titled “Faiths and Ford-Finders” contain the life sketches of the founders of all major faiths their teachings and words of wisdom. The objective of the book was to cement the bond of communal harmony by fostering the feelings of fraternity, harmony and love by removing the barriers of narrow considerations to make “Unity in Diversity” a practical fact.
Vice Chancellor highlighted the efforts of the author for bringing a relevant book of ethical value that is indispensable for all irrespective of any considerations. He also released a book titled “Womb to Tomb” by the same author.
At the culmination of the function, a souvenir was presented to the Vice Chancellor containing the pictures of the activities in The Yoga Centre under his prudent guidance.
