JAMMU, Apr 23: Vedic Brahman Kalyan Parishad (VBKP) today announced its new committee for J&K, headed by Vedic Shree, Pt Daya Ram Sharma.
In a meeting of the Core Committee of the Vedic Brahman Parishad held here today under the chairmanship of Satya Narayan Acharya (ADC), from Udaipur (Rajasthan), Member National Executive, the new State level committee for J&K was unanimously elected and announced. While Pt Daya Ram Sharma (from Ghagwal), was elected as president, Gopal Sharma from Jammu as general secretary of the J&K Unit of VBKP.
Surinder Sharma (advocate) from Katra and Rattan Sharma from Jammu were unanimously elected as vice presidents, Ved Parkash Sharma as chief advisor, Baldev Sharma from Bari Brahmana and Ram Parkash Sharma from Reasi as advisors; Prem Sharma and Om Parkash Sharma from Jammu as organising secretaries, Naresh Sharma from Udhampur and Radha Krishan from Kathua -secretaries, Madan Lal Sharma from Akhnoor as joint secretary, Advocates Sunil Kumar from Katra and Monika Sharma from Jammu as legal advisors while Ramesh Sharma from Jammu as treasurer/ cashier.
The executive committee members are-Vijay Sharma, Pardeep Sharma, Sudershan Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Kishore Kumar, Anil Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, Arvinder Sharma, Nishant Sharma and Ankush Sharma.
Meanwhile, the State Committee also cleared five members for the National Executive today. They are- Pt Daya Ram Sharma, Surinder Sharma, Gopal Sharma, Ramesh Sharma and Naresh Sharma.
