JAMMU, Oct 3: J&K Branch of the Institution of Valuers yesterday celebrated 47th National Valuer’s Day with great zeal and fervour.
RC Gupta, senior Valuer and Ex-Member Punjab Service Commission, presided over the function.
In the Technical session, the speakers emphasized upon the role and responsibilities of the Valuers with changing national economic scenario and need for updation of knowledge in the trend towards knowledge based economy.
The speakers included MK Gupta, HR Phonsa, S C Thukral, YS Sudan and Irfan Rashid Bhat from Srinagar, who stressed upon fair valuation practice to maintain integrity and uphold dignity of the profession.
