JAMMU, June 25: A 63-year-old man on a pilgrimage to the cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi died of a heart attack in Katra here.
Sham Singh, a resident of Dera Basi in Mohali Punjab, was on his way to pay obeisance to the cave shrine when he collapsed near Charan Paaduka, police said.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead due to the heart attack, police said, adding that the body has been handed over to the family members after legal formalities.
