JAMMU, Feb 20: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today reconstituted the Union Territory Distribution Reforms Committee for effective and efficient implementation of Revamped Distribution Sector Schemes (RDSS) in J&K.
Headed by the Chief Secretary, J&K, the committee shall review progress on implementation of schemes as per approved Action plan and DPRs at least once in a quarter and share details of proceedings with respective Nodal Agency (REC/PFC).
It shall review compliance with respect to Pre-qualifying (PQ) criteria and progress on all parameters of the approved Result Evaluation Matrix besides paying special attention towards Consumer Engagement while reviewing progress of Smart Metering works.
Administrative Secretaries of Finance Department, Jal Shakti, Forest, Housing & Urban Development, RDD, Revenue and Divisional Commissioner Jammu/Kashmir are Members of the Committee while Administrative Secretary PDD is the Convenor and concerned Managing Director, JPDCL/ KPDCL will be the special invitee.
