JAMMU, July 14: A deputation of J&K United School Teachers Association (USTA) called on Director School Education, Smita Sethi in her office chamber and put forth a charter of demands.
The demands include transfer all masters and lecturers who have completed their tenure in far flung areas by adopting transparent transfer policy, allotment of grants to release salary of Masters working overall cadre, SSA, RMSA, release of Sr Teacher grade in favour of undergraduate teachers, adjustment of Masters whose DPC was made in February 2014 and regularization of all ReT teachers who have completed five years of services.
The Director gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured to resolve the issues in her competency.
The deputation comprised of Rajeev Kumar, Dr Shashi Pal Singh, Angad Singh, Shanti Saroop Sharma, Raj Kumar, Sazad Mirza, Ganesh Dutt, Balwant Singh, Bali Mohd, Sudesh Kumar, Thuru Singh and Dwarka Nath.
