JAMMU, July 14: A 45-year-old man was today found hanging with a tree in Sui village of Kanachak in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, one Raghuvir Singh son of Hari Singh, resident of village Sui, was found hanging this morning with a tree in a field near his residence. He was spotted by some villagers, who informed the police.
On getting information, police reached the pot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting post mortem it was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
A case in this connection was registered at police station Kanachak and proceedings initiated under 174 CrPC.
