‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ mints Rs 167.62 cr on Box Office

NEW DELHI: Doing a steady business in the third week ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ has collected Rs 167.62 crore on the box office.

The collection is steady as the movie, made the same business as on thirrd Monday. It collected Rs 3.32 crore on Wednesday taking the total tally to Rs 167.62 crore in 20 days. The movie has entered in 100 crore club in just 10 days.

Recently, Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam celebrated India’s 70th Republic Day at the Wagah border.  Touted to be the first content film of the year, ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ has been winning hearts and has emerged the first blockbuster of 2019. The film refuses to slow down at the box office even after the release of ‘Manikarnika’ and ‘Thackrey’.

‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ is based on the surgical strikes which were carried out by the Indian army in 2016. Besides Vicky Kaushal, the film also features Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and debutante Mohit Raina. The film has been directed by Aditya Dhar and it has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Produced by RSVP movies and directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has hit the screens on January 11. (AGENCIES)
