JAMMU, Aug 22: Department of Urdu, University of Jammu, today organized a one day workshop on “Basic Communication, Entrepreneurship and Technology”.
Zulfkar Ahmed from Finishing Institute New Delhi was the resource person of the workshop. He was accompanied by Shika Mahajan Brand Evangelist of Finishing Studio.
The day long workshop was attended by students, scholars and faculty member of Urdu Department. Head Department of Urdu, JU, Prof Shohab Inayat Malik threw light on the aims and objectives of the workshop.
Zulphikar Ahmed informed the students about the value of 86400 seconds we are blessed by the GOD daily. He highlighted the importance of communication and technology for entrepreneurship and employment.
During the workshop, the experts entertained the students by reciting various verses of Galib, Mir, Iqbal and others. The students too recited various Urdu verses.
The proceeding of the program was conducted by Dr A R Manhas while Prof Sukhchain Singh, Prof Zia-ud-Din, Dr Mohd Reyaz Ahmed, Dr Chaman Lal, Dr Farhat Shamim were also present in the day long workshop.
