UDHAMPUR, Mar 2: An unidentified youth of mid thirties was found dead under mysterious circumstances on the bank of Patta Nallah at village Jib, here today.
The body was highly decomposed and spotted by some locals, who informed the Police. Apparent cause of death could not be immediately ascertained while Police has shifted the dead body to the mortuary of District Hospital Udhampur for its identification and other legal formalities.
The deceased was wearing a blue trouser and white shirt. A case under Section 174 has also been registered in this connection at Police Station Rehambal.
Meanwhile, Ramnagar Police has arrested six absconders and produced them before the court of law for immediate disposal of pending cases in the interest of speedy justice to the aggrieved victims.
A police party of police station Ramnagar, led by SHO Sanjay Raina, under the supervision of SDPO Jagdev Singh Slathia, arrested the absconders namely Kalia son of Mullabaksh of Seer Manjla, Hussain son of Munu of Ladana (involved in case FIR No. 62/2015 u/s 363/376 RPC and 59/15 U/S 451/336/323/147 RPC), Saraju Jattu son of Saif Din of Ladana, Kashu son of Munu of Ladana, Reham son of Mahu of Janderarim Ramnagar (involved in case FIR No. 62/2015 u/s 363/376 RPC whose warrants U/S 512 CrPC were issued by JMIC Court Ramnagar.
These accused were absconding since 2015.
