Samba Police seizes 2 vehicles, rescues 8 bovines

SAMBA, Mar 2: Samba Pol-ice once again succeeded in foiling two bovine smuggling bids by rescuing eight bovines in two separate incidents.
A police party of Police Post, Supwal headed by SI, Karnail Singh, incharge PP Supwal  under the close supervision of  Deepak Digra, Dy.SP Hqrs Samba, laid a surprise naka at NHW Nanke Chak, Samba and intercepted one Tata Mobile load carrier bearing Regd. No. JK08BK-5608, coming from Kathua side carrying four bovine animals.
Police during the checking of the vehicle, rescued all the four bovines which were transported illegally without any permission. Police Party seized the vehicle on the spot.  In this regard a case FIR No. 60/2018 U/S 188/RPC, 2/3 PCA Act, stands   registered at P/S Samba and investigation started to nab the driver.
In  an another similar incident, a police party of Police Station, Samba headed by Inspector, Chanchal Singh, SHO PS Samba under the close supervision of  Deepak Digra, Dy SP Hqrs Samba during surprise naka checking at NHW Mansar Morh  Samba, intercepted one Tata Mobile  bearing registration no. JK08D-3886 coming from Kathua side and recovered four bovines which were being transported illegally in the vehicle.
The vehicle was seized on the spot and all the bovine animals were rescued. In this regard a case FIR No. 61/2018 U/S 188/RPC, 2/3 PCA Act, has been registered at P/S Samba and investigation started to nab the driver.
