Giving reference of a document, the aspirants said that the JKSSB in a meeting held on April 23, 2022 under the chairmanship of the then Chairman Khalid Jahangir, had given approval to the provisional selection list of JEs, Junior Statistical Assistants, Lab Attendants etc . The 201st Board meeting had approved 3200 posts of Class IV, JE PWD 144, JSA Jammu cadre 51, Kashmir 40, JE Jal Shakti 65 and Lab attendants 21.
But it is unfortunate that after the transfer of Chairman Khalid Jehangir and a few officers, the list is not being released by the new Chairman. Six months are over since the result was declared and two months have passed after the final selection list approved but the list is not being declared.
These posts were advertised in 2020, and now two years are over, the JKSSB has failed to make selection. This is the mockery of the fast track recruitment system. The unemployed Engineering graduates are facing trauma due to delay in the release of the selection list. The protesting engineering graduates sought intervention of Lt Governor into the matter.
