JAMMU, Dec 4: A three week long UGC refresher course in Information Technology, being organized by Academic Staff College, Jammu University in collaboration with Department of Computer Science & IT, commenced here today.
Prof Manoj K Dhar, JU Registrar and Director of the School of Biotechnology, JU, formally inaugurated the course in the presence of faculty and staff of the university. Around twenty five college and university teachers are attending the refresher course.
In his welcome address, Prof Vibhakar Mansotra, HoD Computer Science, dwelt in detail about the various contours of IT and Computer Science that would be covered in the three week long course.
Ranjeet Kalra, Astt Professor ASC, Dr Latisen , Dr Vinod Sharma, Dr Shub Nandan Jamwal, Dr Anil K Tickoo, Dr Goja and others conducted proceedings of the inaugural function.
