JAMMU, Mar 16: A special court in Jammu, designated under the NIA Act, today issued proclamation orders against two active terrorists of the region.
As per a statement, the proclamation orders were issued against the terrorists in case FIR number 04/2021 under sections 13, 18, 18B, 20, 38, 39 of UA(P) Act registered at Police Station JIC Jammu/SIA Jammu under section 82 of the CrPC.
It said prior to issuance of the proclamation, the court had already issued open-ended non-bailable warrants against the terrorists.
Today, a team from SIA Jammu read the proclamation orders at conspicuous places in their (terrorists’) native villages and pasted copies at their residential houses and other prominent locations in the villages, it said.
Meanwhile, the Court has granted the terrorists one month to surrender before the court or the investigation agency.
“Failure to comply within this timeframe will result in the attachment of their properties under section 83 of CrPC,” the statement further said.
