POONCH, Mar 16: A 30-years-old person died due to electric shocks after coming in the contanct of transformer in Lassana area of Surankote in Poonch district today.
Official sources said that deceased person was working with Airtel company and correcting the electric connection of towers when he suddenly came in the contact of transformer and died on spot.
Deceased was identified as Musharaf Hussain (30), son of Mohd Sharief, resident of Arai area of Mandi in Poonch. His dead body was taken to Sub District Hospital for legal formalities. SHO Surankote Mukhtiar Ali confirmed the incident and said that dead body was later handed over to family for last rites.
