JAMMU, Mar 16: High Court has upheld the detention under PSA of alleged criminal Sunny Kumar, son of Yog Raj of R S Pura.
“The fact that after quashment of the earlier detention order, the petitioner has indulged in more criminal activities undeterred by his earlier detention shows his propensity to indulge in the activities which are prejudicial to the maintenance of the public order”, Justice Sanjay Dhar said.
“He has no respect for law and despite pendency of a large number of criminal cases against him he is out to indulge in more criminal activities. Therefore, there were compelling reasons for the detaining authority to pass the impugned order of detention”, High Court said.
