Two thieves arrested with stolen items, two wheelers

JAMMU, July 9: Chatha Police arrested two thieves along with stolen items and 20 two wheelers.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a person namely Ramesh Kumar, son of late Banarasi Lal of Mohalla Reyan, Hakkal, Chatha with Police Post Chatha stating that some unidentified persons entered into his house and decamped with household items.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 119/2022 under sections 457 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
To work out the case, a team from Police Post Chatha led by SI Ranjit Singh Chib was constituted under the supervision of SHO Satwari Inspector Sameer Jiilani, SDPO South Sachit Sharma and SP South Mamta Sharma.
The team put in hectic efforts and finally arrested two thieves, who were identified as Satish Nargotra, son of Jeet Raj of Old Satwari and Happy Kumar, son of Babu Ram of Prabhat Colony near Peer Baba Chatha.
On their disclosure, stolen items including automatic voltage stabiliser, servo stabiliser, LPG gas cylinder, inverter, LED and pedestal fan were recovered. Besides this, twenty stolen two wheelers were also recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
