LEH, Nov 5: Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Simrandeep Singh today issued orders for initiating departmental action against seven officials of different departments and placed two others under suspension for remaining on unauthorized absence.
The Deputy Commissioner vide his order dated October 10 had ordered the Tehsildars to furnish weekly attendance reports of the employees of various departments under their respective jurisdiction.
During the scrutiny of the weekly reports furnished by the Tehsildars, the Deputy Commissioner noticed that seven officials of different departments were absent from their respective duties without any station leave permission.
Accordingly, Deputy Commissioner has ordered departmental action against Rinchen and Skalzang Dolma, both teachers MS Shang, Mohd Ali, SDO Horticulture Saspol, Hussain Hakim, Headmaster HS Hemisshukpachan, Tsewang Dolma, Pharmacist Medical Sub-Centre, Hemishukpachan and Ishey Angmo, FNO Medical Sub-Centre, Hemishukpachan.
However, the Deputy Commissioner has placed under suspension Sonam Tondup, Electrician BMO Diskit and Tsering Namgyal, HT Horticulture Department Saspol.
